Heather Wojciuch, MA was driven to be an inclusion champion by her 15+ years of experience working in military child and youth programs and her desire to find ways to include children with challenging behaviors and disabilities in those environments. Yearning for some career-broadening, KIT become the right fit in 2017. Heather now serves as KIT’s Inclusion Support Center Manager and leads a team of specialists who coach and teach individuals who work in daycares, afterschool programs, and recreational activities.

Laura Jenks, MS has over ten years of experience supporting people with disabilities in inclusive settings. She has a BS in Sociology and Special Education from the University of Oregon and an MS in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Laura has varied experience in case management, assisted living, and parks and recreation.

Brayden came to KIT in November of 2021 as an Inclusion Support Specialist. He received his B.S. in Psychology and has extensive experience helping children with trauma and developmental delays, as well as adults experiencing homelessness and substance abuse.
"Inclusion to me means being valued as an individual and ensuring success in all aspects of life for all."

Shonna has a passion for advocating for families to ensure children with special needs receive the resources and supports needed to be fully included. She joined the KIT team in August of 2021 as an Inclusion Support Specialist, where she helps drive the KIT mission of providing opportunities to fully include everyone, regardless of their unique challenges.
"The path to inclusion begins with acceptance, tolerance, and understanding the unique needs that are shared beliefs, proving we are more alike than we are different."

Amy has over 18 years of experience working with children and adults in childcare, youth education programs, and public-school systems. She joined the KIT team in June of 2021 as an Inclusion Support Specialist. Prior to her role at KIT, Amy worked as a preschool teacher, Center Director, Certified Pre-K-12 teacher, ESE Specialist, and Behavior Specialist.

Sasha Smith is thrilled to join the KIT team as the Inclusion Support Center Assistant! With a background in the arts, she knows the power that comes with embracing individuality and self-expression, which is why she feels inclusive practices and supports are vital to childhood experience.
"Inclusion is an expansive way of being that mirrors the vastness of humanity."

Audrey Vistro, MA Ed, MA SpEd is a credentialed special education teacher. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University. She has a Master’s Degree in Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University. Audrey has extensive experience working with children that have developmental delays, as well as parent training and case management.
